Jacki McManus has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science and a Master of Science Degree in Soil Science from the University of Manitoba. She has worked in the environmental field for both the private sector and the Federal Government for over twenty years. Jacki spent eight years in private industry conducting site assessments and overseeing remediation projects for oil and gas sites in Alberta and British Columbia prior to her present responsibilities with the Federal Government.
Currently, Jacki is an Environment Officer with the Department of National Defence (DND) at Air Force Headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She has been managing the Contaminated Sites Program for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) since 2009, and is an active member of the Federal Government Interdepartmental PFAS Working Group and the DND PFAS Task Force
