Richard (Hunter) Anderson, PhD, is an environmental scientist at the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) in San Antonio, Texas. He provides technical expertise to AFCEC’s Environmental Restoration Program in the areas of emerging contaminants, environmental engineering, environmental toxicology, and quantitative data analyses and serves as the U.S. Air Force Restoration liaison to the U.S. DoD’s Strategic Environmental Research and Development and Environmental Security Technology Certification Programs (SERDP/ESTCP). Dr. Anderson received his BS/MS in environmental science from Oklahoma State University and PhD in soil science from Ohio State University.
