Mr. Greg Gervais, P.E.
Federal Facilities Restoration & Reuse Office USEPA OLEM
Since August 2018, Greg Gervais has been the Acting Director of EPA's Federal Facilities Superfund national program office in Washington, DC. He is responsible for regulatory oversight of 174 Federal Facility Superfund Sites and $8 billion in annual cleanup performed by other Federal agencies across the US. Prior to his detail, he served as the program's Deputy Director beginning in December 2016. From 2011 to 2016, he led EPA’s hazardous waste site cleanup innovative technology assessment and knowledge transfer program. Prior to joining EPA, Greg was a senior engineer, program manager and program evaluator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; and a project manager and chemical engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
