Jeff Gillow, Ph.D.
Dr. Gillow has 30 years of professional experience working on metals and radionuclides in environmental systems. For 18 years, he was a research chemist with the US Department of Energy and focused on actinide chemistry in surface and subsurface environments as well as demonstrating the efficacy of nuclear waste isolation systems. Recently he has worked as a consultant to mining, industrial, and Federal clients. Current projects at Geosyntec include development of in situ treatment approaches for arsenic and uranium in groundwater systems, with an emphasis on practical, sustainable solutions to challenges associated with sites affected by metals and radionuclides. Dr. Gillow has a B.S. in Marine Science, and an M.S. in Environmental Management. He completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines in 2006.
