Carlos is a Senior Environmental Protection Specialist with the USEPA Superfund Program, based at headquarters in Washington, DC, where he currently manages the Technology Information and Integration Branch. A main focus of his work is identifying and advancing best practices and new technologies in cleaning up contaminated sites and understanding overall trends in environmental challenges and solutions. His Branch employs three main approaches to achieve this end; documenting innovative practices in the field, training fellow regulators, and communicating innovation via our multiple channels, such as webinars, the cluin website and through professional conferences such as Remech. Carlos has a BS from Colorado State University, a Master’s in Environmental Management from Duke, and a Georgetown MBA.
